Rubius Therapeutics is developing new cellular therapies using red blood cells to treat cancer and autoimmune diseases. Rubius consolidated its multiple locations to 80,000 SF of newly constructed, state-of-the-art, research and development space at 399 Binney Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The space supports over 200 employees and includes approximately 50% laboratory space consisting of bioprocessing, biology, and associated specialty labs. In addition, the facility boasts full office, conference, cafe and amenity space for use between multiple floors in the building.
RJD Group provided comprehensive Owner’s Project Management services for Rubius, from lease negotiation through occupancy.

Xilio Therapeutics
Xilio grew from incubator space into nearly 30,000 SF in Waltham. The design integrates BSL-2 biology, cell lab, mass spectrometer, and an Animal Care Facility with office, administration, and meeting spaces.
